Events of the past week to date...

14/11/2011 12:07

Tis me again with my ever ready fingertips about to disect the happenings of the past week and how they have shaped the current one, which is only 12 hours and 7 minutes old (time calculated on when typing commenced).

A few things took place this past week: the suspension of the ANC YL top 6, the rather "suspicious" test score results between SA and the Aussies, Bafana Bafana not being able to reclaim the Mandela cup and the Gauteng giants (Mamelodi Sundowns & Orlando Pirates) being humiliated by Platinum Stars, to name but a few. But the one piece of news that stole the show was the death of S.A. Rugby's bad-boy Solly Tyibilika, what a great loss to the S.A. Rugby fraternity through the hands of thugs. May his soul rest in peace.

I for one find it perculiar and extremely amusing how the powers handed to those we call our leaders, are being abused right infront of our eyes and the best that we can do is to stand aside and mumble about the manner these so called leaders are behaving in, instead of doing something about it. We were told that "your vote is your voice" and "your vote shapes your future" which in this case I do concur, however we as the people of South Africa seem to have turned a blind eye on how decisions are being made nowadays; "The one with the loudest voice is the one who would be heard first. But the one with the biggest head has the last word."

Well that is my take on the issue...

Moving right along... This week I have posted the current Department of Health Vacancies, for available posts in the Khayelitsha Hospital and as you know mine is to puff & pass for which I expect the same from you.

This week's topic will be based on what you would like for us to discuss, I have placed a few pointers for us to formulate a dialogue. Andiyakazi ke, you will have to choose. Let's exercise those brain cells and debate on the future of this country, who knows our views might reach the right eyes where they could be implemented towards the betterment of our livelihood as the youth of South Africa.

MASIXOXENI BAHLALI!

I'm out for the moment.
